The Internet Infidels Discussion Board is a messageboard that is now the Freethought and Rationalism Discussion Board (FRDB) which is now a weight loss website.
It was founded by the Internet Infidels, who had been offering online resources on the Internet since around 1995. The II's had started out by expanding on a FAQ file for Usenet newsgroup (forum) alt.atheism, and they added a messageboard for people to comment on their files. Their first one lasted a few years before it was shut down because of a security hole. But in 2000, they started the Internet Infidels Discussion Board, and it has been in operation ever since. Its current name is the result of the Internet Infidels handing it over to different management in 2008.
PZ Myers had been a moderator of its Evolution/Creation forum, but he resigned in 2004.
IIDB has had numerous spinoff boards, some of which have flourished, and some of which have languished and died.
